"My Super Sweet 16"

This show gets me really angry. It is a show shown on MTV. It basically shows how a bunch of rich, spoiled kids can outdo each other on their 16th birthday.
MTV is doing an injustice to American youth and their parents. I really don't think it's right to show how some girl at 16 can buy 2 or 3 dresses valued at $3,000 or more to wear at her party. Followed by the fact that they rent out these enormous places to have these parties. Heck, all of these parties cost more than my wedding!
They book big name entertainers to perform, they get to have special enterances, oh and usually at the end of the episode, mommy and daddy by the little princess a car. Not a cheap Nissan, no, A BMW, Porche, ect. you get the point.
What message is this sending the the rest of the kids in America that don't have rich parents that unrealistically lavish their children with these parties? We had our parties at our houses, we played records for entertainment.
MTV is helping ruin the values of our youth by putting this show on the air.
