It's a sad day in Super Hero Land....

Ok "Superman Returns" opened in theaters today. But not the Superman of yesteryear that we know. You see this Superman is not fighting for something, it's missing from the tag line.
Superman used to fight for "Truth, Justice and the American Way". Apparently the "American Way" doesn't exisit anymore, at least not from a marketing standpoint.
Since the brilliant geniuses that are marketing this film want to get the most out of the foreign dollar, they've dropped "the American Way" from the superhero's tagline, so they replaced it with "all that stuff". They didn't think it would "fly" with foreign audiences. Who freakin' cares what they think! This is FREAKIN' SUPERMAN! It's unbelieveable how twisted Hollywood is, just for the all mighty dollar. Also, "all that stuff"? Who the heck is the genius that came up with that substitution? Sounds like a pre-schooler wrote the line.
Right now, Joe Schuster, Jerry Siegel and Christoper Reeve are rolling in their graves.
